hi all,

can anyone give me good idea is it worth going through directly through oracle university for OCPJP course / exam - or alternative i.e. i have seen whizlabs (are they good?) and some one have used them in the past, and to pass the exam they told me you need no more then 50 hours!. But i thought i rather ask from pro's here! is that true as whizlab will only give exam voucher till June 2012 and i'm in full time job so it is possible to get it done before that?

Also planning to buy this book:

SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Exam 310-065

http://www.amazon.com/SCJP-Certified-Programmer-Java-310-065/dp/0071591060/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323088313&sr=8-1

any further help much appreciated!

thanks
Reh

I did not do exam-lab. I did the first 30 questions from Exam Lab and my heart sank!

I did go over the K&B book very well. I had some prior Java experience. I did do the Enthuware tests, and if you "like" Whizlabs on facebook (search OCPJP Success) you will get a question bank of about 20-to-30 questions. The actual exam has very similar questions.

I did not find the actual exam easy. So do not underestimate it if someone tells you it is easy. (of course this is personal opinion!)
