Updating the dictionary app from command line
posted 5 years ago
I was looking for a way to update the DictionaryApp that comes with WebSphere and trying to update if
from command line
, so that I don't have to go thru the admin console every time.
I cannot figure out a way to specify the JNDI is "jdbc/DictionaryDB" which is a mandatory field.
I am calling a batch file that has the following command:
"C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\bin\wsadmin" -lang jython -user admin -password admin -f "c:\pkg\update.py"
The content of the update.py file is where I am struggling with: I so far have:
(but not sure how to include the fact that it needs another paramter: '-JNDIName' which = 'jdbc/DictionaryDB'
AdminApp.install('DictionaryApp','app',['-operation', 'update', '-contents','C:/pkg/DictionaryApp.ear']);AdminConfig.save();
