Hi, I am new to struts, I have added the commons-beanutils.jar in my class-path but still i am getting this error. Could anyone please let me know what is the issue.

When you say you put that jar into your "class-path", what does that mean? The normal process would be to put it in the /WEB-INF/lib folder of your web application and redeploy.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
