Hi all,
I am in huge dilemma these days. I have been working in testing since past one year, always asking for some development work. Now I have got the opportunity to go to Siebel CRM. I like Java and I have done SCJP also recently and have started preparing for SCWCD. I am very interested in coding. I want to know about the career prospects in Siebel CRM because if it has great career prospects I will be happy in going to Siebel as well. Actually the bottomline is :
Siebel CRM vs Java/J2EE (What should I choose as far as career growth is concerned??)
Could you please help me out in taking my decision??

Very clearly I can see a contradiction in what you claim you like. You say you like programming / write code but you would go the Siebel CRM way if it has better career prospects. Stop! Careers are made out of passion and the prospects come along the way when you are passionate enough about what you do.

thanks Joe for your suggestion... but the thing is that I don't have opportunity to go to Java project now and I don't want to work in testing anymore because later it will become very difficult for me to go to development project... and doesn't Siebel CRM involve coding/programming??
