Sorry not sure the best place for this question.

Just tryingto understand when you hit "refresh" int he browser,the browser must know where to go. It does not look at the URL in the browser it looks somewhere else. Where exactly?
I am hoping for a better answer than "the browser just remembers your last request" :-) What exactly does it remember? And where does it store this info.

Well, sorry, but the answer is "the browser remembers the last request/response in its cache".
