Hello,

I have a requirement in my project to show file upload progress in terms of percentage. How can I do this?
I searched on net and have found a solution based on jquery.I am ok with jquery but the solutions are a bit too complicated for my liking.Any simple solutions to this problem?

Before giving a right solution, can you tell which way do you implement the upload? web or desktop?

jQuery implies JavaScript which in turn implies a web application.

JavaScript can not do it by itself. It would require using Flash, silverlight, flex, applets. Jquery has some plugins that do it, simple search should bring them up.

Apache Common File Upload provides a ProgressListener that you can use.
