Hi I was reading a paper and it says that EAI components like COM,CORBA do not provide distributed transparency whereas Web Services do . What does Distributed transparency exactly mean here??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!
My guess is that they are thinking of the possibility to change the address of the endpoint in the WSDL without changing the WSDL location.
Best wishes!

Hi!
I'll guess again:
I suspect that distributed transparency means that you can distribute services as you see fit, without changes to clients being required.
In addition, the clients do not even need to know where the endpoints they are to access are located (as in my previous post).
Best wishes!

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
