Guys,

Why should I get this error during tomcat startup? I was under the impression that the JDBC driver would be automatically referenced as I use Spring JPA template in my project. Seems not to be the case. Do I have to copy the JDBC driver to tomcat lib directory?

Copying the Oralce JDBC driver to tomcat lib folder got rid of the problem. But facing another problem now. This time is a class incompatibility error.

Which jar does this refers to that it incompatible?

Got rid of the above error as well. There was a version conflict with the xwork-core.jar. Two different dependent libraries tried using a different version of the same jar which gave rise to the error above.
