I am trying to follow the Java Tutorial http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/uiswing/ which is developing a simple GUI using the NetBeans gui builder. I don't have jlabel available under my Swing controls on my palette. Does anybody have a clue why this might be so and how I can fix it? I have NetBeans IDE 6.9 and Java 1.6.0_20.

Isn't it just because part of the palette is folded or hidden? Maybe there's something that you have to click to make it visible. It's hard to say, not knowing what it looks like on your screen...

Thank you.
I looked harder and I did find it. I had somehow, accidentally, moved it down to the "Java Persistence" section of the tools palette. And I had not looked there -- since it shouldn't be there. But I found it and moved it back. So now I am good.
