How to Port Data in a Database to a System where there is no DB Software like SQL Server,oracle

I want to Make a Dictionary using Java and Sql (MS Sql Server or Oracle).
But the Problem is if there is no Database Software in the Client Machine,
then is there any technique that i can use to make a database that is portable and need not require a Database Software
like SQL Server or Oracle

Also I have heard a technique for it but cant recollect it if there is any Please Help!

You could use HSQLDB and save the data in a file.

It works as a regular database but you will not need to install it.

SQLite and Apache Derby can also be used to create database files like HSQLDB. And welcome to the Ranch!
