Stopping Web sphere server in RAD

I have webspher server integrated to RAD(rational application developer).When i stop the server the from server view,I can see the server stopped but when start it gain the server does not start since the java process still runs in the task manager so i have to go to task manager and have to kill the java process and restart my Rad and have to stop the server again.
I know we can chnage the server settings in Administrative console to stop the server etc.But i could not find where exactly it is.

Please help me how the server should be stopped

login into the administrative console... then click on the servers link, then select the application server check box and click the Stop button.
