Where do you see the difference between using DB connectivity in a WS, and using DB connectivity in any other server-side code? In other word, what, exactly, should this example illustrate that any number of existing (and easily found) SOAP and Hibernate tutorials don't cover?

Actually i am new to both java and web services. I am unable to find how to build a web service that has database issues (using jboss and hibernate). So what i am looking for is some ways or examples to build a web service using the above mentioned technologies.

Start by a) creating a WS, and b) creating Hibernate code that acesses your DB. There's no inherent relationship between those two parts.
