I have this issue, I installed a new RSA 7 and i am trying to run an application on the websphere 6.1 runtime 6.1. My issue is that My team mate has the same RSA 7 and is running on websphere 6.1 as well but his application loads up faster and the pages load zoom zoom zoom, where as on my machine its loading stuff very slow and unusually. let me explain what i mean by unusual. The application when starts (on my team mates environment) connects with an MQ and then upon loading the first page starts up the module that starts creating jasper reports in the background. While this is being done the login page loads up instantly, no one will know that there is something running in the background as well. I only got to know because i saw that it took some time creating jaspers which didn't let the login page load instantly. my team mate doesn't even know that there is a module that is creating jaspers in the background (so in this case it helped me but now that I know I would like it to be faster.)

I have like 3 GB of ram intel core 2 Duo 2.33 ghz. his machine is pretty much the same as well.

My questions would be at this point : Is there any place where I can specify the mem usage for websphere. my debug args are like this :

I just added -Xj9 from another article about the same issue, my generic JVM args are like this:

I change them to

but they usually change back to these :

I also checked to run in development mode as some one said it will be much faster but to no avail.

Both the environments werent changed, they are the same as installed with RSA7.
Will appreciate any help.
