How do I process a 7z file in java ?

7z = file created using 7zip? By processing what you intend to do exactly?

I don't believe that InflaterInputStream can process lzma files directly (although I may be wrong; there may be also 3rd party subclasses around that can). The 7-zip site does offer an SDK, but I've never used it.

Alternatively, you could
(a) simply run the command to deflate the file from Java and then use its result.
(b) store your files in another zip format, such as .zip or .gzip.
