Hi all,

I need to make my database connection password secure in tomcat.
Now my password is encrypted and my custom class which extends [org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory] to the job of handling encrypted password.

Is there any way to protect even my encrypted password from intruders?
Is there anything in JAVA like windows registry?
Please let me know what is the standard way for handling this issue in Tomcat.

Thanks in advanceā€¦

Try googling 'secure database password tomcat'. This article was first in the list and may help give you some ideas.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
