This week's book giveaway is in the Testing forum. We're giving away four copies of The Way of the Web Tester: A Beginner's Guide to Automating Tests and have Jonathan Rasmusson on-line! See this thread for details.
Hi all, I bet you get asked this all the time, having read the fAQ and had a quick squint at the Tiles acrtical, I am still unsure as to the best way forward
I have a Spring MVC web appliation, and it has a common layout for it pages, as you might expect.
However parts of these common areas are dependent upon the page you are in, for example when viewing a component details (in the component area), there will be menu options available in the content areas header and footer which arent there when you are viewing a list of components.
Also the component area might be spilt into several sub areas dependent on the type component, however each of these sub areas will be much the same, just a different title and content but the structure and style will be the same.
Also, the menu items are likely to be edit options, so it will have to take the object ID.
So, can I use titles to achive this, i.e pass a string in that is to be written to a given marker inside the tile. Or should I write a custom tag/library?
