Could not find artifact org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-war-plugin:pom:2.1.0 in central

I am getting following exception when tried to build my app with maven.
can someone help me.

[ERROR] Plugin org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-war-plugin:2.1.0 or one of its dependencies could not be resolved: Failed
to read artifact descriptor for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-war-plugin:jar:2.1.0: Could not find artifact org.apache
maven.plugins:maven-war-plugin:pom:2.1.0 in central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2) -> [Help 1]

That is because there is no 2.1.0 version. Check out http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-war-plugin/ to see what versions are available. So fix the plugin declaration to use the correct version (such as 2.1 or 2.1.1).

Thanks the solution above worked. I try to change the <artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId>
<version>3.2.0</version> to the latest version which as for now is 3.2.0 and saved the pom.xml now it was ok
