Hello Everyone,
I had applied for a job posting a few weeks ago through a recruiter. Had 3 rounds of interviews. 1 phone interview(technical), 1 face to face interview(technical and general), and a group interview(technical). They were going to select 2 people from my group and one from the other group, so three hires in total. After the group interview one of my friends who works in that company told me that I did the best in my group. After the interview the recruiter told me that the company wants to bring me in. After 3 days I got an email from the recruiter that I had to go for one more interview, that is something like a meet and greet interview and she expects a job offer after the interview. But my friend in that company told me that there are a few technical people who would be sitting in the interview and have looked at my profile.

I dont know what to expect in the interview. Do I have the job ? What should I expect going into the interveiw. I am feeling a little nervous about this. Should I expect technical stuff in the interview.

Thanks in advance

It is hard to say. My guess would be an interview to ascertain the culture fit. That is, how well you will fit in with the team. So, your attitude, communication skills, work ethics, etc can be under scrutiny.

I don't think you have the job as they want to meet you again. But it is a good sign as they didn't rule you out.

Or it could be they are deciding between two teams.

I'd show up fully prepared to answer technical as well as soft questions. And be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be softball.

+1. There are times when I was told to attend a 'meet and greet' interview only to be asked to implement Iterators and talk about class immutability. Do not go unprepared.

Thank you all for your answers. I would surely be prepared for technical questions, just in case.
