Somebody on this forum suggested me to Start Development in Android Apps instead of Mobile Application built in J2ME.

But, I'm unable to get through... Can Anybody please suggest me any Good Book for Learning Android development ( like once i was suggested about Head First java ;-) )

Check out our bunkhouse. I particularly liked the "Android User Interface Development Beginner's Guide" book, although this book alone won't be enough.

If you like "Head First..." series, they also offer "Head First Android Development". You may try that.

Since you mentioned "Head First Java", what about Head First Android Development or Programming Android?
"Programming Android" according to the reviews is really good and extensive.
