issue with maven in linux box

I am getting the below exception while doing "mvn clean install" in my linux-64 bit box. But this code is working fine in my window PC. Kindly help.

It appears that the file /home/sapadhy/oraclemavenrepository/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-clean-plugin/2.4.1/maven-clean-plugin-2.4.1.jar is corrupt. I recommend deleting the file, or actually, delete the entire directory containing the file. Then run the build again, Maven should attempt to download the file again.

By the way, how did that file get there originally? Maven typically does a hashcode check to validate that a JAR file download successfully.

Also, please to not abuse the ability to use colored text. It is OK for highlighting specific words or phrases, but not acceptable for entire paragraphs or code dumps.
