Guess what guyz... Today i clearered OCPJP with 98%....... I am going to share my success story with you guyzz but first i would like to thanks all the java ranchers and specially to:-

Kathy seirra and Bert Bates you are my favourite authors ever.... You both are genius and a book you wrote is mind blowing. I read it 5 times and still i will keep your book with me in my whole life.
Devaka Cooray for such a great simulator . You cant imagine how many times i did the questions of your simulator(7 times). I just mastered all the concepts in that.
CertPal exams also helped me alot thank you to them too
Javaranchers thankyou all for helping me at every moment

Herezz my success story.........

First of all I read SCJP 6 study giude by Kathy Seirra and Bert Bates and read it again and again till i digest each and every concept in that book and then at last I did all the 2 minute drills and all the back questions they are really helpful. Then i did master exam in CD.
After this I did all the exam from exam lab and discouraged alot when i got a very bad score(55-60%) then i promised myself i will not go forward till I mastered all the concepts in this. I made some notes from my mistakes and code alot on each concept I wrote.
Then i did all the exams from Certpal which was somewhat simple but tricky and very much similar to real exam questions.
I also reffered all the questions from Nikos blog but not from Generics
At last I did all the master exam(again) and the Bonus exam in which I get marks in 80s.

On exam day i was expecting my score in 80s but oracle gave me a gift that day with a very much simple exam 3 question from generics,,,,, 2 question from threads the topics in which i was weak in comparison to others. That was really a gift for me. No drag and drop questions. Thanks alot ORACLE its a party time guyzzzz!!!

hi,

I have read K&B bok around3-4 times. I still keep reading. But I am still not confindent to take the cert exam. I have even tries K&B ptractice exams, where I have scored 70+ in all the 4 practice exams. I have also tries questions from javachamp and other mock websites. Though questions from these two websites looked simple to me, I couldnt imagine the real exam. I fear I myt not pass.

Hey Larsen your score seems to be very good as compare to mine and i am sure if you will master all these then you will definitely pass the exam with good score. Also try to master the examlab these will prove to be very very useful to you. And set your deadline so that you can see the target in front of you to hit on and go through as much mocks as you can. Rest will be fine dont worry. Bet of luck.
