Package importing problem

Hi,i created a simple web application and in that app it is having two packages when i am trying to import .class to from one package to another(i used import packagename)but it is saying that cant find symbol...can any one suggest me....

You need to make sure that the classes are available on the compilation class path.

That should be either
import packagename.*;
or
import packagename.classname;
