Hi,

How (using struts tags) on a JSP do i print the value of a request variable (a simple string) stored in the previous action ?
bean:write seems to just be for objects that are stored rather that simple types ..

Action code:
request.setAttribute("name","Bill");

JSP code:
??

Thanks, Ronan

The scope="request" is optional, as it will search any scope. If you don't specify a property, Struts assumes that the object itself is either a String or has a toString() method it can call.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
