HI,

I am developing an Java/struts based application for one of the company in Thailand, now the problem is that i need to make all the input fields in Thai language only. For labels and messeges i know i can use MessageResoures, but how will i enable the input fields to accept Thai language? Second problem is that, if user will enter data in Thai language, then how will i convert data into english for putting validation and saving them into database. I need Thai language only at client interface, after that it needs to be converted in english for rest of the process.

Please help me ASAP, Thanks in advance.

Namrta.

Hello Namrta,

You can use the Translator API to resolve your problem,

They need to handle at

1. Client Side

2. Server Side

You can use the GOOGLE JAVA API for translation..

Check the below link,

http://code.google.com/p/google-api-translate-java/
http://code.google.com/p/google-translate-api-java-client/

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
