hi,
I'm new to JSP.I want to configure a JSP project.The Web server used is Tomcat and database is postgresql.

First copied the project folder to the webapps folder.then port the database also.

Here my problem is i can't login to the application.By giving username an d password ,the follwing error occured.

'test' is my project folder

HTTP Status 404 - /test/servlet/build.com.test.Login.SrvLogon

type Status report

message /test/servlet/build.com.test.Login.SrvLogon

description The requested resource (/test/servlet/build.com.test.Login.SrvLogon) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/7.0.26


what is the reason for this error?Any help please....

Seeing the error message, i guess its an issue with servlet url mapping.. please post your web.xml, servlet class and the JSP.

See the ServletsFaq and make sure that you have followed all instructions fro properly setting up and accessing the servlet.
