Friends,

The following timeouts have been set in Apache commons HttpClient

In the code, we are writing an input stream using the org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods.PutMethod and executing clientA.executeMethod(PutMethod).

In eclipse its indicating that these are deprecated methods and need to change it, but the application is running for a long time and its not possible to change the API right now.
Problem: Even if the timeout is set to 60000 milliseconds, the connection gets time out only after 10 minutes. Is there anything needs to be changed?

On doing some search, i found that setTimeout is used for socket read and setConnectionTimeout is used for connecting to the server itself. I'm getting IOException only after 10 minutes even if the timeout is 60000 milliseconds.

Please help me in resolving the issue.

Really appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,
Vijay

Can anyone please help on this issue. Which API method must be used to resolve the timeout issue?

Thanks,
