application with different context root  RSS feed

Hi

my web application is currently running on context root "root1", it is running very slow.

however, once i deploy the same war file to a different context root "root2", it is running much faster, can anyone tell me why>?

The name of the context should have no effect at all on performance. What concrete evidence do you have to support this?
