I found a nifty Java library, JSmooth (http://jsmooth.sourceforge.net/license.php ), that lets you create simple windows-friendly executables out of your java programs (something I don't know how to do without some research).

Before I invest a bunch of time in it, I just wanted to ask:
1. is there a better library to use? JSmooth does not appear to have been updated since 2007;
2. if not, is this something that is just as easy to do by hand?

Thank you.

You can try Launch4J.
Or you can even try creating an executable jar.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
