JXDatePicker Calendar

I'm using JXDatePicker for a pop-up calendar in my dialog application. The problem that I am seeing is that when the pop-up displays, buttons underneath the outline of the pop-up "bleeds" through into the JXDatePicker. Anyone have any ideas? I'm using NetBeans which comes with the swingx 1.6.3 library containing the JXDatePicker.

Sorry no idea. Maybe it has a "shadow outline" property or something which you can control?
In the past I have (successfully) used JCalendar and it worked smooth as silk

JXDatePicker has some nasty bugs when used for the time as well.
The bug is known to the developers but no fix available.
Its not fit for use in a production environment in my opinion.
I am also using JCalendar and no problems so far.
