Converting DOC to PDF

Hi,

I am trying to convert .doc file to a pdf using iText. PDF got generated, but the generated pdf contains a lot of junk charaters and formatting has lost.
Please help.

iText has no idea about structured text formats, it only recognizes plain text, so this won't work. Check out the JODConverter library, which uses OpenOffice in server mode to perform such conversions.
