Hi,

Any advice on tools or way to do this would be great,

I have a java system that runs on a windows machine and connects to a database using url "databaseUrl",

Do you know if there is a tool that can act as a middle man that when there is a request to "databaseUrl" that instead of connecting to "databaseUrl" it just holds the connection and within the java system there is a timeout exception,

Thanks in Advance,

Niall
