Drag and Drop files/folder in JPanel  RSS feed

Hello friends,
I am developing a desktop application in Java(Netbeans IDE).
I like to drag the files/folder inside the Panel window. so that i can get access to those files(editing the files or files in folder).

I don't know how to do this..

Here's a link to Oracle's tutorial about that topic: Lesson: Drag and Drop and Data Transfer. I see it also has a link to a collection of examples; but none of them involve dropping files, as far as I can see, so you will have to go through the tutorial to see how that's done.

sabari, you had two and four responses respectively in the two earlier threads you started. Don't you think it would be nice to SayThanks (<-- link) to the people who took the time and effort to try to help you?

As for this question, have you read through the API for DataFlavor?
