I've come to the realization that Axis2 version 1.6.1 is not compatible with LDAP authentication to a Web Service hosted on a Windows server. Having followed the many forums and many forum posts on setting the security on the Axis2 calls, I have exhausted all possible solutions offered by same. We need a simple step-by-step tutorial with sample code that enables an Axis2 client to talk to a Windows-hosted Web Service like HP Service Manager.

Below is the HP Service Manager WSDL (Axis2 client calls fail LDAP authentication; HP Service Manager client is successful):
