My co-author Edward Finegan and I are working on the This OCA Java SE 7 Associate Study Guide (http://www.amazon.com/Associate-Study-Guide-Oracle-Press/dp/0071789421/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1334681411&sr=1-1) to assist you in preparation of passing the Oracle’s Java SE 7 Programmer I exam... in order to help achieve the OCA, Java SE 7 Programmer certification. The information in the book is presented through textual content, coding examples, exercises, and more. If you have any questions about the book, or the exam I'd be happy to answer them here or directly: robert@ocajexam.com

Sincerely,

How close do you think you'll get to the Aug. 22nd launch date posted on Amazon? I'm running a tad behind myself.

Hey Cameron, good to hear from you and thanks for asking.

I can't verify the date, but I can say that they we are doing everything we can to put out the best quality product, and that Aug 22nd is the target.

Thanks,
Robert

Michael Ernest was one of the authors of the first book on Java Certification, which was hugely popular. So I am sure this one would be a good book too.
Why do you think you need to preorder it though?
