how to suppress struts 2 logs

I tried it in several ways like
1)add a line log4j.properties file
log4j.logger.com.opensymphony.xwork2.util.logging.commons.CommonsLogger=OFF
RESULT -its not working
2) add a line struts.properties file
log4j.logger.com.opensymphony.xwork2.util.logging.commons.CommonsLogger=OFF
RESULT -its not working

I just wanted to get rid of this types of logs.

Please help me.
