Hi,
I've been using RXTX for communicating with a device via a serial port; it works fine until I try to close the connection with the close() command. Not only does the application hang but it eventually crashes with an error originating in one of the RXTX native routines. I searched the web for references to this error. I've found a few but no viable solution yet. Has anyone here that has used RXTX seen this error and have a solution?
I working on a Windows 7 64-bit platorm. I first used the 64-bit RXTX but switched to the 32-bit version, RXTX 2.1.7 (with JDK1.6.0_31 (32-bit)) yet still see the problem. Also, I'm using Netbeans IDE 7.1.1
Thanks a whole bunch,
Bill
