Deliver, market, and sell the enterprise version of the Assembla applications. This job combines development, product management, and account management aspects. Your mission will be to advise on the development of enterprise and "Scalable Agile" features, and package them into on-site, private label, and custom versions of the Assembla application. You will work with programmers to deliver the products. You will work with our (small) marketing team to promote them online. You will also work with channel partners and large customers to integrate the product, and expand those relationships. https://www.assembla.com/search/show_job/1313

Now we are expanding our product line and introducing enterprise products. We think that our enterprise and repository packages are now ready to be a successful product line that will make money for everyone involved. Working hours and locations are flexible. Assembla is at a good stage where you can get the benefit of startup flexibility and growth without startup craziness. You will have the opportunity to design a new approach to "scalable agile".
Requirements:
Development management, with a programming background
Engaged and opinionated about agile methodologies
Experience delivering enterprise software products and/or customization projects
Comfortable working with global development teams (open source, outsourced, or distributed)
Sales, marketing, and account management skills will be very useful

This is a full time job. We prefer to hire someone who can work with Assembla CEO and senior staff in the Boston area. If you are located somewhere else, we will need to find a way to work together closely. We are ready to negotiate a competitive salary, options, and compensation package.

To apply, go to https://www.assembla.com/search/show_job/1313 Please post a resume and contact information. We will respond to selected candidates to set up a phone or Skype interview. It is possible to test the fit by initially working with Assembla on a part time or project basis.
