Hi Ranchers,
I am newbie to spring, I have to zip/unzip files/folders using spring framework, I do not want to
use java zip api. Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Why not? Trying to avoid the standard API is often a questionable approach. Also, Spring (like all frameworks I'm familiar with) has no facilities for this; why would it, given the existence java.util.zip?
As was already stated Spring does not have any libraries I know of for this. However if you have some sort of issue with using java.util.zip I have used the http://commons.apache.org/compress/ libraries before and they did a fine job as well.
