building templates

Rafael,

I would like to use a special template I have in phpBB2.

Is it possible for me to build a JForum version ?

I would like to make a pt_BR.properties too.

Yes, sure you can

You can use the existing jforum's template as example. Is a bit more complicated than phpbb, since it uses "some" Freemarker tags ( freemarker is the template engine ).

Currently, you should change by hand on SystemGlobals.properties.

There is an item on my TODO list to solve that problem. In next versions, users may change the template in their "My Profile" page.

Sorry, it is hardcoded in JForum.java:

JForum.getContext().put("templateName", "default");

change the "default" to your template dir name.
