You will find SystemGlobals.properties at <JFORUM_DIR>/WEB-INF/config

Where <JFORUM_DIR> is where you put the jforum package.

well sorry to bother again
i have made it correctly to match the forum links inside the pages
however the image links which pointed to 'templates' are not linked correctly. i wonder if it has catched the context name correctly.
would you kindly give me some hints on this?
thanks a lot in advance.

Well, there isn't much to say..

1) Put http:// followed by the host name, like in http://localhost[/ii]

2) Put the port, if other than [i]80
. Now we have http://localhost:8080, for example.

3) Put the context name you created. For example, you the context is named "jforum", put "/jforum", if it is "JForum-RC1", put "/JForum-RC1".

4) Probably you will need to put a trailing slash. So, after all, you will have

sisi, sorry for my vague messages.
I mean those images with links like 'templates/default/images/logo.jpg' are not preheaded with the context name. What i got are those pages displayed but with the images & styles gone........
i wonder if I have missed some configurations ?

Have you put the "/" at the end of the url? many times this is the problem ( or, if you put, try removing it ).

Rafael
ps: sorry for my last sarcastic message :P

http://localhost:8080/forum/forums/list.page

Yes, the http://localhost:8080/forum/ redirects to the above page, in which the images & styles are gone, I am just afraid if I did not read through all the necessary notes before proceeding to the configurations.

Ok, that correct. And have you set the property "forumLink", at SystemGlobals.properties, to "http://localhost:8080/forum/" ?
