Don't know if this has been fixed in the CVS tree but its not fixed in version 3.1 on sourceforge which is where most people (including me) will be downloading this from at the moment.

Anyway onto the problem..

/WEB-INF/config/SystemGlobals.properties file has an entry for forum link suggesting
that the server is listening on port 18080. This results in no pictures on the front
page and the inability to log in. Changing this to 8080 fixes the problem (for those
who have 8080 configured in their server.xml file). In either case there should probably be a note put in the setup section saying to modify this value to whatever port tomcat is listening on.

OLD:
forumLink=http\://localhost\:18080/forum
CORRECT (or more appropriate):
forumLink=http\://localhost\:8080/forum

This is fixed in the CVS version (actually, we have changed the configuration aproach a lot, so we probably have introduced some new problems ).
