I have installed JForum on my computer. I have tried to make the "Send notify when a reply is post" feature works on my computer.

I have go to SystemGlobals.properties and set
mail.smtp.auth=false
mail.smtp.host=blah...blah
mail.smtp.username=
mail.smtp.password=

Is there any place I have missed out?

Thanks n Regards,
James Yong

Well, at TopicVH.java, like 449, there is the code

you can change // shall we log the error for any debug thing, like e.printStackTrace().

Probably you're getting auth problems.

Thanks. I have found my problem. I should have also set the value for mail.sender at SystemGlobals.properties
