Sorry, if the question sounds silly.

I know the securitymodel variable in permission control, is being set. But I don't know why we need to have a securitymodel variable in permission control. Anyone?

Well, user and group management have much in common, so I use these interface to acccess the common method form UserSecurityModel and GroupSecurityModel.
