I see in your datamodel tables to store "votes". Looks like plans to add support for posts that are "Polls" with a fixed set of choices that users can vote on? That's what I'd like to see. Any estimates on when we might see that?

We don't have a deadline for this feature yet, but will not be before the 1.0 release ( next one will be rc5 and then 1.0 ). Maybe for 1.1 or 1.2

I don't have it planned for the next releases. There are some very important things to finish, so I can't get the poll done alone currently.
