Allow users read, but not post in a forum

I created a forum called "Announcements". Administrator should be allowed to post messages there and other users read messages, but not post.

Can I do that in JForum?

Currently, no. And I only realized that now, with this your post :? . I created an issue for this: http://www.jforum.net/jira/browse/JF-89 and marked to be done for RC5 or 1.0.

I have plans to release RC5 in the next weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to make it until there.
