Using a wiki to organize and present the news, doc changes of JForum.net?

Currently, we have a simple home page of JForum.net website. I just wondering whether we could install a wiki to present our recent doc changes and news(e.g., Release Notes).

There are many good open source wiki project(like XWiki http://sourceforge.net/projects/xwiki/) with almost same functions and easy to install.

I have submit a new feature in JIRA.

I've been working around with some Open source Wiki's and I would like to recommend a look up at http://www.JSPWiki.org.

Its unlikely we'll use a wiki. Probably we'll go to some direction where we can use the forum structure as a "wiki" .

Ideas, ideas

I agree. A Forum software is not a Wiki, but some Support for Wikis would be nice. Just some tag-support like [[page]] and within the SystemGlobals.properties - file the wiki where that page is linked to like

e.g.

[[Wiki]] then would ink to

Well, I have setup Confluence for JForum. I realized that many people won't help if we don't have suck a tool.

Everyone is welcome to help. To do so, just register for an account and send me an email / Private Message that then I add to the "jforum-team" group, which will enable you guys to edit / create content.

The address it http://www.jforum.net/confluence . When we have some "strong" content, I'll integrate it with the site.
