hai........all iam using forte for Java IDE....previously i had jdk 1.3 and forte for java was working fine.... but now i removed jdk1.3 and i installed J2SDK, SE 1.4.1...so i had to reinstall the forte ide as well.......but this time after installation when i run the file it is showing the error like

cannot load c:\J2SDK1~1.1\jre\bin\classic\jvm.dll

but when i tried to locate this file iam unable to find even that classic directory......iam surprised abt what cud b wrong....but my memory(highly volatile) suggests that i have seen this path b4 when i used jdk 1.3

Also iam able to start the IDE with the help of the runide.bat file but iam unable to compile programs....
cud any one help my way out as i despratley need this IDE.

I fear you are not going to find the forte experts in this forum. This forum is about jforum - a java based forum software. For questions regarding forte you will find more appropriate forums and as far as I know the former forte ide is now called netbeans http://www.netbeans.org/
