Officially there isn't anyone making new templates. I know people who changed the style for their own needs, but nothing more than that.

It would be really great if you make some templates. Basically, all you have to do is to make a new directory under the templates directory, like "templates/darkMoon" and put the files there.

You should use the same file names as it's used in the "default" template.

One thing I can tell you: the default template is a bit messy - eg, it could be much simpler and easy than it is currently -, so don't get in panic .
Suggestions for improvements are really welcome and appreciated.

OK, I have created ...templates/my-template/images/logo.jpg (parallell to ...templates/default/images/logo.jpg). Now what?

How do I specify the new template?
Do I have to copy all files from default to my-template?

Cheers,

Open WEB-INF/config/SystemGlobals.properties and put "my-template" in the key "templateName". That's all. Of course you'll need to have all templates into this new diretory.

Great! It works!

Now... shouldn't the catalogs "macros" and "mail" also reside under "default" (and its siblings) instead of under "templates"? Then they too could be part of a template.

Cheers!

Indeed. I'll change it.
