Migration from MySQL to HSQLDB

I'm going to be upgrading to the latest JForum and was thinking of switching from MySQL to HSQLDB.

Any chance its as simple as backing up my current MySQL tables and then running the sql file against the newly created HSQLDB database after installing the new JForum?

hmm.. you can give it a try. Since the inserts will be raw INSERT statements, there is a lot of possibility of success.
