Take a look in this post: https://coderanch.com/t/574636

The same rules apply to sql server or any other database.

Hi Rafael,

I have looked through the https://coderanch.com/t/574636 . However, as for the end users (non developer), it is beyond my knowledge to make JForum works with SQLServer. Is there anyway to request step by step instruction to make it work.

It would be great to be able to download .sql and .properties file and configure. I am just finding it difficult to digest all codes.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ah, yes. That instructions are for developers, since some coding is needed.

So, I guess you will have to wait until somebody make the code to sqlserver available.
